Kid Ideas for Rainy Days
Rainy days can be so heartbreaking to children. But its other ways you can have fun even when the weather doesn’t permit it. Here is a few kid ideas for rainy days that work for me and wife. One thing I like to do on rainy days is watch movies. With my kids we’ll get some popcorn, and get some blankets on the floor and snuggle up all day and watch whatever they want. But as you know it’s hard to keep young kids content for a long period, so sometimes when they’re feeling extra energetic we will turn on some music and let them have a dance party. It’s a good way to keep them active even on days they can’t go outside to play. Also it helps get all that built energy out of their little systems. My daughter also likes to help me cook, which for her means helping me stir a few things here and there. Which is good bonding time for us, and I really enjoy learn new things. My son on the other hand just loves when bring the vacuüm out. he’ll follow you around with his little toy dirt devil for hours if I let him. Rainy days might mean you’re cooped up in the house for a day, but those are the days that you can make the best memories.
